If the matter cannot be resolved by way of an acceptable apology and an undertaking not
to repeat such action, then disciplinary proceedings, suspension from the centre or other
appropriate action by the manager or committee will be undertaken.

volunteers so that both they, and the centre, gain maximum benefit from their contribution.
Comments and Complaints Procedure
The centre is open to all women and aims to encourage and support women in a variety
of ways. We welcome the input from users of our services and any comments you have
will always be considered. If you wish to make a specific complaint, please be assured
that we will take it seriously. If you wish to make a complaint then please speak to a member
of staff or a member of the management committee.
Skills for Life Policy
Peterborough Women's Centre recognises the benefits within the Skills for Life Agenda
and is fully committed to promoting Skills for Life within the organisation - to staff, clients,
funding providers, partners and sponsors. PWC has committed to a whole organisational
approach for Skills for Life.
Behaviour Management Policy
We believe that children flourish in an environment in which everyone knows what is
expected of them and where they are free to develop without fear of being hurt or hindered
by anyone else. We aim to enable children to develop their self esteem in an atmosphere
of mutual respect and encouragement.
Child Protection Policy
We believe that every child, regardless of age, has at all times and in all situations, a right to
feel safe and protected from any situation or practice that results in a child being physically
or psychologically damaged.
